Slow progress

Here I was wondering why Shedir has been sitting around for so long. After knitting all of about 6 rows I remember why I put her aside in the first place. Cables, lots and lots of cables and small needles hurt my hands. Other knitters seem to fly through this knit, but me, I just have to crawl.



Knitterly progress was dramatically slowed by visitors as chatting, catching up and drinking tea took over. Athough at the end of the day I do have this.







A pile of pieces ready to be washed and seamed together. Then a collar to be added and a zipper.
Hmmmmm zipper.......... procrastination.........
Maybe I'll go and start another sock.
