After class I decided to have a look about in a second hand store and under the dust found this


It needs cleaning up but I can see it being a perfect storage spot for all those little bits that seem to have legs of their own, stitch markers, cable needles, scissors and tape measures.
Now homework for an hour so I can justify the time I intend spending on knitting tonight:)

WOW! My mom has the same box!! It was a sewing box of my great-grandmother! Very nice!!
My nan gave the same box to my mum for her engagement to my dad. Mum has since passed it onto me. Mine is a slightly paler stain and still in ex condition. My dh wants it and he has no hope of ever getting it.
